LIVA GROVES SA

The company LIVA GROVES SA manages olive groves of organic farming in the north of Kalamata, in an area where the olive tree has been growing for thousands of years.

LIVA GROVES SA produce exclusively health-protective olive oil, with environmentally friendly methods of cultivation, harvesting, production with cold pressing and only with mechanical means.

With great love and care we produce LIVA olive oil, which is the first Greek olive oil with Health Claim designation, accompanied by the corresponding chemical and organoleptic analyses and with traceability leading to the specific trees that produce it.

The olive grove is certified:

1. as an organic crop since 2005. It is supervised and certified by the BIOHELLAS Organization with certification code A-428744
2. cultivation producing olive oil KALAMATA PDO with certification by ELGO DIMITRA

The standardization unit is licensed by the Ministry of Rural Development with code EL 40 469 and has ISO 25000-18 certification ORGANIC with code 2021-000000091038, by the BIOHELLAS organization with KOD GR-BIO-03, KALAMATA PDO with KOD POG/1427-3475.10, FDA with code 13310454796. It is registered in the list of APPROVED EXPORTING ORGANISATIONS with code GR01/0105/2021 for EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL and Olives products

We have been engaged in the research of health protective olive oil since 2015. We coordinate the ARISTOIL network , a Euro-Mediterranean project funded by the EU, INTERREG MEDITERANEAN project, in which olive oil producers, olive oil mill associations, Universities (Pharmaceutical Schools) and Local Governments from all Mediterranean EU countries participate. The aim of the project is to study and highlight the optimum conditions that must be ensured both during the harvesting of the fruit and the production of olive oil in the mill. At the same time, more than 4,000 olive growers and dozens of mill managers have been trained in the production of certified olive oil in accordance with EC 432/2012.

The company LIVA GROVES SA, with its central executives, was the visionary of the ARISTOIL project and an official partner in ARISTOIL PLUS. Some of the deliverables of ARISTOIL PLUS are:

Our company, apart from the classification of the Health Claim olive oil for food and supplementation, and after 5 years of research, has brought to the world market an olive oil with all those elements that classify it in the category of food supplements with the potential to prevent and strengthen the body against various diseases.
